Emergent Insurance Solutions ("Emergent", "we", "us") operates the Elliot Mission Control platform. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with this platform.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when using Mission Control, including:

• Email addresses used for authentication (magic-link login)
• Actions taken on drafts — approvals, amendments, rejections — including reasons provided
• Correspondence reviewed or generated through the platform

2. How We Use Information

Information collected through Mission Control is used to:

• Authenticate authorized staff members
• Log workflow actions for audit and compliance purposes
• Improve Elliot's drafting quality over time through amendment-reason analysis
• Generate audit trails for insurance compliance requirements

3. Data Storage

Action logs and amendment reasons are stored in a secure Turso database hosted in AWS us-east-2. Authentication tokens are time-limited (15 minutes) and consumed on use. Session cookies expire after 8 hours.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to operate the platform (cloud infrastructure providers) or as required by law.

5. Data Retention

Workflow audit logs are retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with insurance regulatory requirements. Authentication tokens are deleted after use or expiration.

6. Security

Access to Mission Control is restricted to an authorized staff allowlist. All communication is encrypted in transit via HTTPS. Authentication uses cryptographically secure, time-limited tokens.
